Volleyball 2014: Grade 8 Boys

The Grade 8 boys volleyball team had an amazing season! We were blessed with a lot of boys that were passionate about the game and even some who were new to it. We started the season off with a couple tournaments that featured mainly grade 9 teams. The amount of determination and skill the boys demonstrated during these tournaments really set the tone for the rest of the season. Our season was filled with a lot of wins and close games (even some heart breaking losses), but most noticeably, was the boys’ maturity into mentally gritty volleyball players. This growth helped us go undefeated throughout our playoffs and into the gold medal game where we won silver in a great game against a strong Rundle squad. As coaches we had the awesome opportunity to work with these boys and see them play at their finest. We can already see that the boys are eager and ready for next year!
