Please help us welcome Mrs. Kendra Lake as our Tuesday/Thursday Kindergarten teacher starting next week. Mrs. Lake is not new to TCS or Kindergarten. Not only did Mrs. Lake substitute teach in Kindergarten at TCS last year, she actually began teaching at TCS in 2001 as a Junior High teacher.
Interesting Facts:
Mrs. Lake taught Junior High at TCS before having my own kids; teaching Junior High at TCS in 2001-2002 and guest teaching 2015-2017.
Mrs. Lake has three children that all attend Trinity Christian School. Jayden (Grade 8), Julia (Grade 6) and Jackson (Grade 3). Her children started in 2010 when Jayden was in Grade 1
Mrs. Lake and her husband, Jay, are both very active as volunteers at TCS. Mrs. Lake has been a classroom coordinator every year and served on many different committees - KAC (2 different times), TOC, Walkathon, Auction..... Most recently she has coached Boys Gr7 volleyball. In past has coached boys volleyball, girls basketball, track and field. Jay has primarily helped with coaching volleyball and basketball.
Just celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary. Jay is from Oregon, Washington.
Mrs. Lake has a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and English from Trinity Western University in BC. Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University.
Played varsity rugby at university but loves all sports (especially hockey and volleyball).
loves coaching and watching her kids play hockey and dance.
Loves to read and bake.
