Today ten of our junior high leadership students had the opportunity to attend Palliser's second annual Student Leadership Conference in Lethbride - “Discovering U: Explore. Create. Achieve” . The purpose of the event is to inspire students to be creative and bring change to their communities. Through a combination of collaborative activities, speakers, and break out sessions, students will hopefully be equipped and inspired to impact their schools. The keynote speaker David Usher spoke on how creativity is a combination of a good idea and hard work. He talked of the importance of working through ideas and taking risks. We look forward to seeing how our Leadership Students excercise what they have learned here at TCS.
