Operation Christmas Child

Our grade 5 students had the wonderful opportunity to visit Samaritan's Purse today. They received a comprehensive tour of the Calgary facility to see "the last stop" before their gift-filled shoeboxes are sent to hurting children in developing nations. Their tour guide was great at answering the many questions they had. A very inquisitive group.

The students also had the opportunity to understand WATER PROJECTS Samaritan's Purse supports. Mrs. Snell class raised funds for a water filter for one family, clean water for 2 students as well as 2 bibles.

Our students were truly blessed to see how giving is a gift.

Our Grade 9 students will be visiting Samaritan's Purse tomorrow to help pack shoe boxes.
