Sending Shoeboxes ... with Love
The grade 5's had the opportunity to go to Samaritan's purse today and take down the shoe boxes that our families graciously filled and donated. While there, they learned about the journey each shoebox takes to makes its way to a child in need. They explained how every shoebox tells a hurting child that he or she is loved and not forgotten, but that is not the end. Shoeboxes also open the door for children and their families to hear the life-transforming Good News of Jesus, God’s greatest gift.
How exciting is it to know that God already knows the child that will receive your shoebox?
