Walkathon Assembly
We had a chance to celebrate as a school and give out well deserved prizes to the fundraising winners of the Walkathon. Our final number raised was $36,617.76 and we were also able to tithe 10% of that to EduDeo Ministries.
The students were ecstatic with the prizes won! There were passes to Telus Spark, Flying Squirrel, Landmark Cinema, Spruce Meadows, Breathe Air Parkour, Color Me Mine, Glamorgan Bakery as well as classroom pizza parties for the top earners in each division. The highlight of the assembly was that anyone who raised over $100 was entered in a draw to pie a teacher in the face and we had 5 lucky winners! The gym was in an uproar as the students geared up and took their shot!
Thank you to all of the grade 9 students for organizing and running the event. You did a fantastic job and we could not be more pleased with the results.
