Grade 8/9 Girls Volleyball
Hard to believe the regular season in junior high has come to a close for these grade 9 girls. With only one more tournament to use as practice before the finals start, the girls can be proud of the accomplishments they have had this year in the regular and in tournaments.
It is felt that the success of the team has been hard work and the coaches emphasizing team unity and communication. Before every game the girls took turns doing a devotion and discussing what it meant to them to be a team. For the past two years everyone has played all positions giving them an appreciation on the importance and difficulty of every position. This year, the girls, were assigned set positions enabling them to focus their development. Congratulations girls on your growth and good luck in the finals.
