TCS Board Retreat - Preparing for the Future
This past weekend our Board of Directors spent the day together in Bragg Creek. It was not only a beautiful drive out to Bragg Creek with the changing fall colours, it was also a great location for an offsite workshop. Their workshop was led by Henry Contant, M. Ed. Henry is a Faculty Member & Governance / Leadership Coach with an impressive list of credentials to assist our board to prepare for the future of TCS.
Henry led the group through a governance workshop helping them focus their efforts on being a future focused/strategic board who should consider what TCS will look like in 2 - 5 - 10 and even 20 years. What will TCS look like in 2030 which is when our current kindergarten class will graduate as our grade 9 class.
